We are a contemplative community of religious sisters. We belong to the Franciscan family and profess the Rule of Saint Clare: Living the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We live in accordance to the spirituality and ideals that Venerable Maria Lorenza Longo had when she founded the Capuchin Sisters in Naples, Italy in 1535.

Our presence
Our community came from the Monastery of the Most Blessed Sacrament in Amarillo, Texas.
We arrived in the Diocese of Pueblo, Colorado on 4 February 2001 to establish a monastery of "contemplative life" in the Diocese.
We embrace the Holy Gospel through our vows of Chastity, Poverty and Obedience; in a cloistered community.
Our prayer life consists of the daily celebration of the Eucharist, Liturgy of the hours, adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and private prayer. Silence is a very important part of our lives in order to be in communion with our Lord and each other.
We bind ourselves to contemplate and praise God fervently, cultivating simplicity in our fraternal relationships, silence, austerity, solitude, in a life of poverty and humility, following Christ, poor and crucified.
Following the example of
St. Francis and
St. Clare,
we seek to follow Christ with
fraternal love
and joyful simplicity.
